This is not a finished project, believe it or not. However, I thought the dragons stood well enough on their own to warrant a gallery entry *prior* to the additoin of the stuff I'd planned for the background.  Also, it allows you to get a nice close-in view of all that brain-numbing detail. 

This is Prismacolor pencil over watercolor. It took me probably 15 hours to get those dragons colored, but I spread it out over a couple of weeks because it absolutely killed my drawring hand. But was it worth it? Oh yes. This is one of the most challenging tangles of dragon I've done to date.
